Mental Health

Holly Hill offers several different tracts for our adult patients needing inpatient mental health services. The tract to which the patient is assigned depends on the patients individual diagnosis and treatment care plan. Our ability to house and treat patients based on the needs required by their diagnosis, allows for a more individualized and comfortable treatment experience. The programs address a wide range of concerns including:

  • Depression
  • Suicidal Thoughts
  • Bi-Polar Disorder
  • Schizophrenia
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • PTSD

A typical day on an adult unit includes group therapy, recreation therapy and wellness education. Patients see a psychiatrist and medical doctor throughout their stay and 24-hour nursing care is provided. There are also scheduled times when the patient will meet with his or her therapist individually.

As with our other programs, we encourage participation in treatment and discharge planning by the patient’s family or support system.  The adult programs also participate in our Treatment Trails Programming.

Holly Hill also offers an outpatient program for adults that provides intensive and supportive therapy for patients who are safe to return home at night. Find out more about our Partial Hospitalization Program Here.
