Gina joined The Pines in November 2019. Born and raised on Long Island in New York, Gina earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Adelphi University and her Master’s degree in Social Work at the State University of New York at Stony Brook (Stony Brook University). Gina moved to the Triangle in 1999 and earned her Master’s degree in Public Administration at North Carolina State University, with a focus on organizational behavior and program development.
For over 30 years, Gina has worked to improve social welfare through direct patient care in both community and inpatient behavioral and addictive disease settings. She is an advocate and professional educator committed to facilitating meaningful dialogue around community issues, specifically related to health disparities and clinical outcome improvement.
Gina is a proud mother, celebrating her daughter’s recent graduation from the School of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University.
