Programs & Services

Adults (Ages 18 and UP)

Holly Hill’s Adult Inpatient Program meets the patient where they are mentally and emotionally, helping them to gain the necessary tools for recovery. Whether the patient struggles with mental health issues, substance abuse or a combination of both, we can help. Outpatient treatment for co-occurring disorders is also any option.

Holly Hill Hospital is committed to providing all of our patients with the help they need to put them on a solid path to recovery. We treat a variety of mental health and substance abuse issues at Holly Hill Hospital’s South Campus in both inpatient and outpatient settings depending on the patient’s behavioral health needs.

Combined, our Mental Health Inpatient and Psychiatric Adult Outpatient programs address the following conditions and more:

  • Adult mood disorders
  • Panic and anxiety
  • Bipolar and personality disorders
  • PTSD and trauma
  • Grief and loss
  • Depression
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Schizophrenia
  • Substance abuse

Holly Hill Hospital also recognizes alcohol and drug dependencies as treatable medical illnesses. As a dual diagnosis program, patients participating in substance abuse treatment also receive co-occurring treatment for any underlying psychological disorders that may be at the core of their addiction. Our Inpatient, Substance Abuse, and Chemical Dependency Partial Hospitalization programs teach patients the skills and understanding they need to overcome addiction. In addition to rehabilitation, detox is offered.

At Holly Hill Hospital, we believe that it’s never too late to get help. The immediate needs of our patients are addressed and treated to help reverse the symptoms that led to their hospital stay. We then help each patient gain a better understanding of what events, circumstances and decisions led to the admission. From there, we help patients identify and reaffirm their strengths which will aid them in planning for the future.

Senior Adults (Ages 61 and UP)

Designed to meet the behavioral health needs of older adults who require supportive medical care, Holly Hill’s Medical Psychology Geriatric Program includes a specialized medical evaluation, an assessment of daily living skills and a full psychosocial assessment and intervention.

A typical day on the geriatric unit includes group therapy, recreation therapy and wellness education. Patients see a psychiatrist and medical doctor throughout their stay, and 24-hour nursing care is provided.

Patients in our Geriatric Program engage in our Treatment Trails programming, which acts as a guide for the patient in helping them set goals, overcome their illness and utilize new coping skills. Participation in treatment and discharge planning by the patient’s family or support system is important and encouraged as it notably helps the patient in their recovery process.
