Programs & Services

Young Adults (Ages 18-26)

Holly Hill’s Young Adult Program uses elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and life skills coaching. These treatment techniques help patients identify their strengths and manage their illness for a healthy and productive future.

Designed for patients ages 18 to 26, our inpatient programs for young adults teach and reinforce strengths and skills through three stepping stones: foundations, pathways and destinations. In each step, the work completed by the patient and psychiatrist for young adults builds on itself and helps lay a solid foundation for recovery.

Holly Hill Hospital is committed to providing all of our patients with the help they need to put them on a solid path to recovery. We treat a variety of young adult behavioral health and substance abuse issues in both inpatient and outpatient settings depending on the patient’s needs.

Combined, our Mental Health Inpatient and Psychiatric Outpatient programs address:

  • Panic and anxiety
  • Bipolar and personality disorders
  • PTSD and trauma
  • Grief and loss
  • Depression
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Schizophrenia
  • Substance abuse

Holly Hill Hospital also recognizes alcohol and drug dependencies are as treatable medical illnesses. As a dual diagnosis program, patients also receive co-occurring treatment for any underlying psychological disorders that may be at the core of their addiction. Our Substance Abuse Inpatient and Chemical Dependency Partial Hospitalization programs teach patients the skills and understanding they need to overcome addiction.

As in our other programs, family or support system engagement is important to the recovery process. Participation of patients’ loved ones during treatment and discharge planning can give the patient confidence to keep going beyond the walls of Holly Hill Hospital.

We offer no-cost confidential assessments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you believe that you or a loved one may be displaying symptoms of mental disorders in young adults, call Holly Hill Hospital today.
