Holly Hill’s Inpatient Mental Health Services offer a variety of tracks for our patients, dependent on their individual diagnosis and treatment care plan. Housing and treating patients based on needs required by their diagnosis allows for a more individualized and comfortable treatment experience.
- Suicidal thoughts
- Bipolar disorder
- Anxiety disorders
Located in Raleigh, North Carolina, a typical day on an adult unit includes group therapy, recreation therapy and wellness education. Patients see a psychiatrist and medical doctor throughout their stay, and 24-hour nursing care is provided. Individual therapy sessions are also scheduled for each patient.
Like our other programs, we encourage the participation of family or support system in treatment and discharge planning. The adult program engages in our Treatment Trails programming which acts as a guide for the patient in helping them set goals, overcome their illness and utilize new coping skills. The children’s program teaches patients to reflect on who they are and how to manage difficult feelings and build on the tools they gain from their stay through a path we call Explore, Discover, Connect.
Holly Hill also offers outpatient programs for both adults and children, providing intensive and supportive therapy for patients who are safe to return home at night. Find out more about our Partial Hospitalization Program here.
