Addiction Treatment at Holly Hill Hospital
HOURS & LOCATION
Holly Hill Hospital recognizes alcohol and drug dependencies are as treatable medical illnesses, and we also provide medically managed detox for certain substances. In our Addiction Treatment Program, group therapy alongside a strong 12-Step education component helps our patients begin their road to recovery.
As a dual diagnosis program, patients also receive co-occurring treatment for any underlying psychological disorders that may be at the core of their addiction alongside inpatient substance abuse treatment. Our inpatient substance use disorder program is short-term (9-11 days depending on acuity.) If appropriate, these patients may transition to a 28-day residential program or to an outpatient Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at The Pines or facility closer to their home. Our inpatient program also provides medically managed detox for patients 18 and over, including treatment for geriatric substance abuse.
As with our other programs, we encourage the participation of family or support system in treatment, rehabilitation and discharge planning. While in the Addiction Treatment Program at Holly Hill Hospital, patients track their progress using our unique Treatment Trails system, which guides them through setting goals and utilizing new coping skills as they work to overcome their illness.
Holly Hill Hospital’s substance abuse center also offers an outpatient chemical dependency PHP that treats patients who are cleared to return home at night. We integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, contingency management, Motivational Interviewing, 12-Step facilitation, family involvement and other elements, giving patients the skills and understanding they need to overcome addiction.
